Anti Ragging Squad

Any student or group found involved in ragging, either inside or outside the campus, will face one or more of the following penalties:

• Prohibition from appearing for internal or university examinations.

• Suspension from classes and other academic activities.

• Withdrawal of scholarships, fellowships, or institutional benefits.

• Temporary suspension from the college.

• Cancellation of admission.

• Withholding of examination results.

As per the directions of the Supreme Court of India, guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education, and regulations of the Department of Technical Education, Karnataka, ragging includes any act by an individual student or group of students that involves:

• Any form of indiscipline, teasing, or rude behaviour toward another student.

• Any action that interrupts or hampers normal academic activities.

• Any conduct that causes mental stress, discomfort, fear, or psychological harm.

• Any form of financial exploitation or forcing someone to incur expenses.

• Any physical abuse that may result in injury, assault, or health risk.

• Any verbal, written, electronic (email/SMS), or public humiliation or harassment.

• Any act that violates or diminishes the dignity and fundamental rights of a student.

• Any wrongful confinement, intimidation, kidnapping, molestation, criminal force, or trespass.

• Any unlawful gathering or conspiracy intended to promote or support ragging.
