Annual sports meet for the year 2012-2013 was held on 23.03.2013. Prof. A V Narayan, President of Vivekananda Polytechnic’s Governing Council inaugurated the meet by hoisting the flag. Student President Mr. Avinash Bangera welcomed the gathering, Mr. Raviram, HOD Civil delivered the Vote of Thanks and Lady Representative Miss. Kavya of 3rd Civil played host for the meet.
Track events 100mts dash, 200mts, 400mts, 800mts, 1500mts race, 4x100mts relay and 4x400mts relay and Field events Long jump, High jump, Triple jump, Shot-put, Javelin, Discuss and Hammer throws were held both for boys and girls in which more than 132 students participated.
Civil boys and Computer Science girls won the championships with 49 and 53 points respectively.100mts dash and Shot-put were organized for Men and Lady staff members.
