A slice of ancient tradition unfolded in the premises of Vivekananda Polytechnic on 22nd October 2012.On that day most of the students turned up in traditional attires to celebrate Ayudha Pooja. On the preceding evening they cleaned and decorated all the laboratories, workshops, library and Office. All the tools, machines, electrical and electronic devices, Computers and other devices were decorated with flowers and smeared with turmeric and sandalwood paste in the form of Tilak and Kumkum. Vedamoorthy Mithur Ramakrishna Bhat performed pooja to all the tools and implements with the images of Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Parvathi and distributed Prasadam. Then he performed pooja to the vehicles bedecked with flowers, smeared with Kumkum and sandalwood paste.
